T.O.S - Terms of Service Version 0.1.1

YOU MUST OWN THE CHARACTER RIGHTS OF THE CHARACTER YOU ARE LOOKING TO COMMISSION.

Order Process:

In the beginning, we will negotiate and discuss your commission information with you in detail to compose a detailed invoice that covers all the major components, details, functionalities, and preferences. These details will be recorded to make your order to these specifications.

An invoice will be provided after negotiations. If you do not receive this information, you may have to request it. Please save this information on multiple devices and/or print it for records.

Changes to the invoice details or requests for additional add-ons not covered in the invoice can incur more charges and lead to timeline delays. We will never begin work on something before you agree to pay.

Commissioners must be paid in full or on a negotiated payment plan before we begin work on the commission. Measurements and/or a DTD (if receiving a bodysuit) must be provided.

We provide Work in Progress (WIP) photos during the construction process. Some WIPs represent construction milestones. We require these milestone WIPs to be approved by you before proceeding with the process.

These milestones include, but are not limited to: images of fur/fabric swatches, the sculpting of the head, the head carve before it is furred, and images of the completed fursuit.

Edits during the Construction Process:

We work from your reference images and detailed invoice to create your commission. If we send a WIP and you want small adjustments along the way, we will try to accommodate this within reason.

If you want changes that go against previously discussed details or previously confirmed WIPs, then we might need to charge extra for those changes to happen. This is because we have completed the commission to your previously stated specification, and an adjustment against those statements creates more work. We will let you decide if you want to pay for the adjustment or if we should proceed as-is.

Payments

Customers can either Pay in Full or start a Payment Plan.

Payment Plans require you to be able to put down 15% of the total cost of your commission up front. After that, you can make monthly installments until it's paid off.

We do not add you to the queue until either you either Pay in Full OR a Payment Plan has been established.

If postponed payments are needed for awhile, we may be able to work with you. Please email us directly to give us a heads up before payments are due to discuss your options. Options can include but are not limited to pausing production until you can start paying again, a partial refund, or reducing the list of components you want to purchase so your total is lower.

75% of the commission total cost is required before we will ship the items to you.

We prefer payment through PayPal or Venmo. However, if you can not use either, we may be able to work with you to achieve payment. Please discuss this with us during the negotiation process.

*If we do not hear from you/recieve a payment for more than two months, you will run the risk of your custom commission’s price increasing due to increased in supply, labor and time costs*

*If we do not receive any form of communication about payment being delayed from you, and you elapsed on payments towards your payment plan for four months, we will consider you commission as abandoned, and that you have forfeit all payments made as well as your commission.*

Color/Fabric Matching

Please be aware that there is a limited color palette available for fabrics (fur, fleece, minky cuddle, faux leather) compared to the limitless possibilities that can be depicted in reference art. We try our best to match colors as best we can, but there will be some times when there is no color close to a color in your reference. We will provide you with the closest color samples we have access to for you to choose from. It may take a few weeks to receive the color samples, depending on the material.

We cannot guarantee fabric matches to previously purchased items, but we will try. We try to match as closely as possible, but sometimes fabrics are discontinued, and sometimes colors obtained from the same manufacturer can vary between dye batches.

Wearability of Fursuits

Buyer understands that fursuits are bulky, claustrophobic, hot, and have less visibility than normal eyesight. We are not responsible for any injury you may incur while in suit. Including, but not limited to: fatigue, overheating, heat stroke, heart attacks, falls, and slips.

Please make sure to take care of yourself in suit. Remember to eat before suiting, drink water (before, during, and after), take regular breaks, and have a friend be your handler in both familiar and unfamiliar territory when suiting. This will reduce the risk of bodily harm.

Buyer Responsibility

Buyer must provide an accurate Ref Sheet, Duct Tape Dummy, shoe size, and/or measurements, if applicable. We rely on these to make your commission accurately.

We do not begin patterning orders until the customer has Paid in Full or makes a Payment Plan, AND we have received their measurements.

Our turnaround time is approximately 4 months from the date of Full Payment or Payment Plan AND receipt of the commissioner's measurements (and DTD, if relevant). This can vary if a design is particularly complex, a specific material is out of stock, or if there are highly unique components, features, padding, etc.

Things that could delay your completion time

Not sending your measurements and/or DTD within 2 months of payment.

Not responding to email communications (especially when we send WIPs we need approved) in a timely fashion.

Changes to designs or add-ons mid-way through the commission.

Shipping

We insure packages for the full value of your commission and require signature confirmation for your safety.

Upon shipment, you will be sent an automated confirmation email that includes your tracking number. Please check your email for your notification.

The average shipping time is 3-5 business days within the United States and 7-12 days internationally.

Please be aware that International orders (those outside of the United States) may be subject to Customs charges and holds that are entirely out of our control. These are country-specific taxes that many countries charge when goods are imported. We did not charge you for these taxes, and are therefore not responsible for paying them.

Fursuit Warranty

If your suit arrives with any fitment issues or is defective in any way, please contact us (wear-wolves@outlook.com) right away to arrange an edit. If we are in error, we are responsible for shipping both ways.

Your fursuit has a 3-month warranty from the date of arrival to you, the buyer. This covers repairs of rips, popped seams, sizing adjustments, and adhesion failure. Please contact us to arrange a fix. While under warranty, the buyer pays shipping to the seller, and the seller pays shipping back to the buyer. Buyer is responsible for ensuring the suit is returned to us in a clean condition.

Warranty does not cover damage incurred from misuse or rough-housing in a fursuit. It does not cover sizing issues due to the buyer providing incorrect measurements. Making adjustments to the fursuit yourself can void the warranty.

Suit Repairs

Please expect your suit to go through normal wear and tear. The bottom of the feet wears down, airbrushing fades over washes, etc. If you take proper care of your fursuit, it can last for years. There are times when your suit may need touch-ups or small fixes.

We can do these fixes, replace items, or touch up airbrushing if needed. Please see our entry above concerning color/fabric matching.

You may contact us at any time you need a repair. We will assess the damage and charge accordingly based on the estimated hours to fix the problem. Buyer to pay shipping both ways.

Buyer is responsible for ensuring the suit is returned to us in a clean condition.

Fursuit Refunds

Please be sure you want the commission and it is within your budget before purchase!

Refunds are only available for fursuits that are currently in production. Production is defined as the point in time when a customer has begun paying for their suit.

Please email us directly if you have any reason to seek a refund. We would like the opportunity to work with you to ensure you are getting what you want.

If you decide to get a refund, we automatically keep at least 20% of the full commission amount as a fee for supplies and communication. That rate increases as we get further into your construction process. We will determine how much is due for a refund based on the amount of work we have completed.

Once a Fursuit has been constructed, it is no longer eligible for a refund.

Seller’s Rights

We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason. The buyer will be issued a full refund in that case. We reserve the right to adjust our Terms of Service agreement at any time.

Photos of Commissions

We reserve the right to use any photography or videos that we take of commissioned work as posts to our social media, advertising of any kind, or print materials.
